QUESTIONS?
If you have questions about the scholarship program or applying for a scholarship, please email ma-scholarships@ctstate.edu, or email diana.reid@ctstate.edu. Be sure to include your name, banner id, and question.
OTHER INFORMATION:
- All scholarship applicants are reviewed by financial aid to determine eligibility for a scholarship based on your FAFSA and demonstration of need. If you receive the Mary Ann Handley Grant (ie, MAH) or partial financial aid, we work with the financial aid office to calculate the amount of scholarship you can receive. Federal financial and/or institutional aid, (i.e. MAH, Pell, etc.) is applied first, if applicable. The MCC Foundation covers all or part of the gap in funding for your unmet needs.
- If you are awarded a scholarship you will be notified by email from ma-scholarships@ctstate.edu. The bursar will place a memo on your student account at the time you are selected to receive the scholarship. We will not release scholarship funds to the bursar until you have accepted the award, we have verified your enrollment and unmet need, and you have written a thank you note to the donor.
*Important Note!
*If you are awarded a scholarship and it is later determined that your classes are not held at the Manchester campus or that you are not enrolled in a degree or certificate program at Manchester, your scholarship will be reduced or withdrawn, and you will be responsible for any resulting balance.
- Separate scholarships are available to assist students with textbooks and class supplies.
- Students traveling to clinicals as part of their degree or certificate program may be eligible for a transportation scholarship to assist with transportation, gas and parking.
- Dropping one or more classes or changing classes from the Manchester campus to another campus may affect the amount of your scholarship. Please notify us if you drop or change classes so we can determine any changes in your financial aid or scholarship eligibility.
