Jo-Ann Ciccaglione Scholarship

1. Preference for students demonstrating financial hardship.

1. Applicant shall have graduated from South Windsor High School or have been a resident of South Windsor and graduated from Cheney Technical High School.

1. Employed at least part-time and worked at least 10+ hours per week, 20+ hours preferred, or volunteered for a non-profit organization or government agency for an equivalent number of hours while attending high school.

1. A 3.0 GPA is preferred, but a min. 2.5 GPA will be considered.

The intent is to highlight students who mirror JoAnn Ciccaglione’s commitment to helping those who have a strong work ethic and academic aptitude but are limited by their financial or other personal situation. The personal statement should discuss the applicant’s financial need, work ethic and how the scholarship will assist them.
