Max Cares Foundation Scholarship for Culinary and Hospitality Students

Max Cares Foundation is interested in helping students from the Greater Hartford or Greater Springfield areas who wish to pursue a career in the culinary and/or hospitality industry. If you
are currently pursuing a culinary arts or hospitality degree and wish to apply for our scholarship award (up to $5,000) for the 2026-2027 school year click the link to apply.

Application requires:

1. Student’s fully completed application.
2. Student’s school transcript. A minimum 2.5 GPA required (or show progress towards improving GPA).
3. A typed essay of between 250 – 500 words describing why you are applying for this scholarship, your affiliation with the culinary and/or hospitality industry, if any, and your career goals.
4. A letter of recommendation from an educator, counselor or employer. Family members are ineligible.
